Unity Developer (Part-time, Contract)

If this describes you, SieEnt would love you to work with us on our as yet unannounced episodic 2D/3D RPG project. This position has the potential to evolve into a full-time position in the next 3-6 months.

You must be able to work remotely, but preference given to candidates located in Minneapolis / St. Paul

Duties and Responsibilities

• Meet deadlines and milestones
• Encounter scripting
• Basic tools scripting
• Works directly with artists & designers
• Participates in meetings, design reviews and planning as part of effective communication with the team
• Contributes to building a collaborative environment with all disciplines
• Liaises with artists, designers, writers, producers and programmers to ensure overall design vision is being adhered to
• To carry out any other related duties as required

Skills and Specifications

• Familiar with Unity game engine
• C++/C# and JavaScript (required)
• Familiar with XML import APIs
• Familiar with Perforce
• Able to work remotely
• Ability to work individually and self-driven projects
• Highly self-motivated individual
• Must have a proactive work ethic, and be a capable and creative problem-solver
• Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
• Must possess excellent organizational skills
• Must have a passion for a broad range of game experiences
• Able to thrive in a chaotic start-up environment
• Willing to learn new technologies and skills
